Rollins Lake is located at the 2100-foot elevation in the Sierra foothills. Found easily off Highway 174 between Grass Valley and Colfax.  There are four independently operated campgrounds with a combined 250 campsites and a complete range of services including stores, restaurants, fuel sales and rentals.

Rollins Lake is an excellent lake to fish for Rainbow and Brown Trout, Largemouth, Smallmouth and Spotted Bass.  

 **At the request of both Nevada and Placer County Sheriffs Departments, Rollins Lake is closed for boating, today, June 27, 2024**

 

****Effective Monday, June 24, 2024, Our Fire Restrictions Go Into Effect at Scotts Flat, Orchard Spring, Long Ravine and Greenhorn Campgrounds***NO WOOD OR CHARCOAL FIRES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CAMPGROUNDS, PROPANE ONLY****

*Fire restrictions may be imposed due to weather conditions, PSPS events, power outages or poor air quality, at which time, campfires and charcoal fires will not be permitted.  In severe cases, propane use may be restricted as well.*
