FERC Relicensing

NID's Rollins Powerhouse is part of the Yuba-Bear Project relicensing project.

NID built and operates the Yuba-Bear Hydroelectric Power Project under an original 50-year license granted by the federal government in 1963.

The district has initiated a multi-year effort with a goal of relicensing the power project with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) by 2013.
