Traffic Update for NID’s Banner Cascade Pipeline Project Construction

A treated water tee and valve will be installed at the intersection of Wings of Morning Drive and Banner Lava Cap on Tuesday, December 13, after 8 am. The equipment may need to be on Banner Lava Cap Road during the work so traffic control will be set up in one lane for both roads while the work is underway at the intersection. Watch for flaggers and anticipate delays up to twenty minutes on both Wings of Morning Drive and Banner Lava Cap Road.

The final treated water connection will be installed at the intersection of Red Gate Road and Banner Lava Cap Road on Wednesday, December 14. Construction activities should not affect traffic traveling on Banner Lava Cap Road. Watch for flaggers to route traffic safely through the work area on Red Gate Road after 8 AM, and anticipate delays up to 20 minutes.

During breaks in the winter weather, Teichert crews will continue to work inside the pipe on Wings of Morning Drive grouting the joints and completing minor vault work. Individual flagging will be set up at these locations as needed with minimal delays expected.
